In July 2004, Sirius Satellite Radio announced the debut of “Sirius Patriot”, a call-in talk radio channel dedicated to conservative American values. The new Sirius Patriot is the twelfth channel the company has dedicated to talk radio programming and is the second channel dedicated to conservative viewpoints on Sirius Satellite Radio. They already added a second liberal channel earlier this year with the debut of Air America Radio and the addition of a second conservative channel adds a balance to the programming at Sirius Satellite Radio. Sirius Patriot joins their first conservative talk program, Sirius Right, the original satellite channel devoted exclusively to conservative talk. Among the unusual offerings you’ll find on the Sirius Satellite Radio Patriot programming is an overnight feed of The Pentagon Channel, produced by the US Department of Defense, which broadcasts military news and information for the 2.6 million members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The satellite radio program includes military news briefings, interviews with top defense officials, and short stories about the work of the troops. Other shows on the Sirius Patriot lineup will include such well-known hosts as: Geoff Metcalf, Laura Ingraham, Joseph Farah’s Worldnet Daily, and Michael Reagan. Sirius Satellite Radio also has an extensive choice of news channels, including CNN, Fox, NPR, BBC and CNBC, as well as nearly 100 channels of commercial-free music, comedy, and sports.Related Articles Satellite
