Using the Tune Select on a Delphi XM Radio

With a Delphi XM radio, you can take advantage of the opportunity to take your Xmradio subscription to some pretty remote locations. From the woods of Maine to the deserts in California, you can easily find one of the two satellite signals. With its powerful antenna and built-In Wireless FM Modulator, the Delphi unit transmits the XM broadcast to any FM stereo with 12 frequencies to choose from. The Roady is a $119 portable satellite radio receiver that goes anywhere, and another Delphi XM radio receiver, the SkyFi ($99 and includes a remote), also works well with any home stereo or car radio.

Meanwhile, XM is taking radio programming to some new and creative places. They already offer a wide variety and they continue to open up channels to new and uncensored programming in music. The company has access to 2 million music titles and the ability to beam these vast resources to every corner of the continental United States. You can take advantage of this technology with a new feature on the Delphi XM radio Roady2 that’s not available to listeners of regular radio, called TuneSelect.

We all like to be surprised when we hear a new song or tune we like. If you don’t like the expense of buying a $20 CD for just one song, and you don’t have time for downloading music from the internet, your Delphi XM radio receiver has the solution.

Roady2 satellite radios offers “tune select” feature: When you hear a favorite song you’d like to hear again, you can select it by pressing the wheel in the upper right corner on the front of the panel. That puts the song into memory and the next time it’s played—on any of the music channels—the unit will beep and ask if you want to switch to that channel.
