Dish Network HDTV Service Adds VOOM Programming
The Dish Network HDTV Service
recently announced that it will add the high-definition television (HDTV)
channels of bankrupt VOOM HD Television to its current slate of programming.
Subscribers who are already enjoying the 5 channels currently available from the
Dish Network Satellite TV System can add the 10
VOOM original channels for an additional $5 per month, giving subscribers a
total of 15 great HDTV channels. With the addition of these channels, the
Dishnetwork further establishes itself as a leader in HD programming.
The VOOM HDTV service offered by the Dish Network Satellite System will include
RUSH HD, Gallery HD, Rave HD, Ultra HD, Equator HD, Monsters HD, Animania HD,
Majestic HD, HD News and Guy TV HD. These networks will give viewers a
high-definition experience in such entertainment categories as science fiction,
fashion, travel, music concerts and more.
Dish Network subscribers will enjoy the best HDTV entertainment with programming
offering superb resolution and clarity. Cable service subscribers who want to
switch to a satellite TV system will appreciate the Dishnetwork’s
high-definition channel lineup as the best programming package available on
pay-TV.
Dish Network customers can sign a one-year agreement and receive six free months
of HDTV programming with high-definition receivers in up to two rooms at no
charge. For a limited time, those who sign up can also receive more than 180
standard definition
