Sirius Radio announced that its newest channel, Shade 45, will debut Thursday, October 28, 2004, at 8 pm ET with a live and exclusive broadcast of the Shady National Convention from Roseland Ballroom, New York City. The broadcast will include a live performance by Eminem and other special guests. The program is available to all Sirius Radio subscribers at no extra charge over the standard monthly subscription fee of $12.95. Shade 45 is the new, uncensored, hip-hop radio channel created by Eminem, Shady Records, Interscope Records and Sirius Radio. The channel will feature a full lineup of on-air hosts and mixers, including Eminem’s DJ, Green Lantern. “This is a great kickoff for Shade 45,” said Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s manager and Vice President of Shady Records. “Giving subscribers the chance to hear everything that’s happening at the Shady National Convention as it takes place is exactly the reason we partnered with Sirius Radio.” Satellite radio is exclusive and quite different from conventional FM stations. There are no regulations on satellite broadcasts from the FCC, so the medium is wide open and running wild (for now). So tune in to Shade 45 and listen to music on your SIRIUS portable satellite radio receiver uncut and uncensored. Related Articles The SIR-ALP1
