XM Satellite Radio Channels Available To DirecTV
Subscribers
DirecTV subscribers will be able to listen to over 50
XM Satellite Radio
channels that have been added to their programming packages at no additional
cost. Beginning Nov. 15, 2005, 72 channels of XM's quality music, children's,
and talk programming will be available via DIRECTV, nearly doubling its current
audio channel lineup. This agreement between the nation’s largest
satellite TV service provider and XM Radio will
be music to the ears to more than 14.6 million subscribers nationwide.
The addition of XM Radio channels to the various DIRECTV programming packages
translates into access to 50 additional audio channels for TOTAL CHOICE®
subscribers and over 65 stations for TOTAL CHOICE® Plus subscribers. PARA TODOS®
satellite TV customers will also have access to the same stations, as well as
five additional Latin music stations.
The XM Satellite Radio – DirecTV alliance will make a lasting imprint not only
on the company’s 14.6 million customers, but on the entire pay television
